RAY-BAN RARE PRINTS

Ray-Ban’s Rare Prints are annual collections of classic Wayfarer sunglasses that feature special pattern prints. Each collection is available in limited numbers and for a limited time period. To launch 2013 Rare Prints collection, artist James Jean created the original artwork and video animation.

Sartoria was asked to translate the concept to the window display and inner decorations of the brand’s flagship store in Covent Garden, London. Coloured seaweeds, fishes and butterflies hand made by Italian craftsmen out of fabric and buttons, create a rare and fantastic aquarium reproducing the seaworld of the video animation.
